Cupping Massage

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy that’s based on the belief that certain health problems can be caused by stagnant blood and a poor energy flow through the body. A therapeutic cupping treatment involves placing suctioned cups on a client's back, neck, and shoulders or the site of pain. This increases the blood flow, loosens the fascia or connective tissue, and is thought to stimulate healing. It is similar to the way deep tissue massage can be used to break up scar tissue and reduce pain. Cupping may cause temporary bruising and soreness, depending upon the degree of suction created by the vacuum and the level of internal stagnation.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage combines relaxing warmth and refreshing coolness to encourage the body to detox and heal. This also increases lymph flow and helps to flush out waste. Heat relaxes your body in a short space of time, so your therapist can focus on a deep working of the tissues using both hot stones and hand strokes. Hot stones also increase your sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Chiropractic is a form of manual therapy that emphasizes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, focusing on the spinal column, muscles, and nervous system. The main treatment technique depends on the injury. Treatment techniques include ART (active release technique), IMS, Acupuncture, Graston, spinal manipulation, kinesiotape, and rehabilitation. Focusing on the root of the problem to ensure the injury is corrected.

Based on the principles of traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture works by stimulating and promoting the body’s inherent healing abilities. Acupuncture is effective in treating many common ailments such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, headaches, migraines, fibromyalgia and so much more. In addition to treating primary concerns, people often report additional benefits such as increased energy, restorative sleep, decreased stress, and an overall sense of well-being.

Laser Acupuncture

Laser Acupuncture applies a low-energy laser (0.1 to 0.5 joules) directed at acupoints or myofascial tenderness points (0.5 cm apart). A laser with a fixed energy and frequency can promote mitochondrial synthesis, increase energy sources, regulate endocrine system, to activate anti-inflammatory reaction and promote blood circulation.

Laser acupuncture combines the theory of acupuncture and balance of yin and yang in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It applies a slow released heat energy to induce more therapeutic effects. Laser acupuncture is similar to TCM’s moxibustion (burning moxa on the needle handle, transferring heat and fragrance into soft tissues).

Features: Laser acupuncture is a light therapy that does not hurt, and can heal a wound or chronic pain. Laser treatment is a painless process for patients adults/children who have a fear of needles.

Laser acupuncture is effective for acute sprains, chronic pain such as neuralgia of herpes zoster, trigeminal nerve, sciatica, and temporomandibular joint disorders. In addition, laser acupuncture can also be used to treat allergies.

1. Laser acupuncture is ineffective for a single time.

2. Some effects may be limited. Because laser acupuncture cannot reach the depth of traditional acupuncture.

3. Does not directly irradiate local organs, such as eyes, thyroid, tests, ovaries, uterus and tumors.

4. Laser therapy can improve immunity. If a patient needs some medication with immunosuppressive effects, those people should avoid laser acupuncture.

Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that the body has the ability to enable healing in body parts, organs, or systems, by stimulating specific corresponding reflex points on the foot. The reflexology therapist applies pressure on the reflex points to trigger stimulation in a corresponding organ or structure which facilitates relaxation, release of tension, and healing. Reflexology is a whole-body treatment that helps regulate the body and encourage the body to move the organ or structure and its associated energy towards balance and better function. Reflexology can be beneficial for increasing energy, inducing a deep state of relaxation, elimination of toxins, stimulation of the central nervous system, relieving sleep disorders, speeds recovery after injury or surgery, improves mood, reduces anxiety, relieves pain, improves digestion and overall feeling of wellness.
